Dean Moorehouse, the President of Strategic Research Associates, attended the 6th Annual National Veteran Small Business Conference and Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 19-22. This conference brought together over 3,000 people from Veteran-Owner and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, federal agencies, and contractors. Conference subjects included contracting procedures, marketing to the federal government, legislation affecting small businesses, and much more. By attending this conference, Moorehouse hoped to leverage the success SRA has gained while working with the Veterans Administration and also to expand its presence with other federal agencies. "The size of the event was at first overwhelming, but by the end I came away with some valuable information on how SRA needs to proceed with future work with federal agencies."
