A co-founder and the owner of SRA, Dean has extensive experience in market research and organizational management. Under his leadership, SRA has helped communities and organizations within our region allocate millions of dollars in new construction, from polling for school bond issues, to the new city-wide aquatics program, and the feasibility studies for Spokane’s two new YMCAs. Nationally, Dean has helped SRA gain prominence with major organizations such as the Veterans Administration. SRA is one of a handful of research companies the National YMCA provides to local affiliates who are considering feasibility studies.
An active civic leader, and a recipient of numerous awards (including a national Emmy nomination for “Family First”), Dean provides focus group moderator services and has received intensive training in this art from Burke, one of the country’s foremost research training centers. Dean was one of the co-founders of the Centennial Trail, a 30 plus mile corridor along the Spokane River that links Spokane and Coeur d’Alene. His motivation for this project was to insure that the river right-of-way remain in public ownership. Dean received his degree from Gonzaga University.
