Dean Moorehouse

President

Dean has an extensive background in developing public affairs initiatives to improve the quality of life for residents in and around the Inland Northwest. An active civic leader, Dean was a founding member of Spokane’s Friends of the Centennial Trail, serving on the original committee that initiated the creation of the trail. He is the recipient of numerous community affairs awards, including a national Emmy nomination for the “Family First” workplace program. Dean was also instrumental in developing the “Miss School – Miss Out” program, which was a fixture in many of our area schools, and which he received the Washington Education’s Association’s Community Service Award. Dean provides focus group moderator services and has received intensive training from Burke, one of the country’s foremost research training centers. He also completed the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management program at Michigan State and the University of Delaware. Dean received his B.A. from Gonzaga University.

Dean has built SRA into the success that it is through the development of corporate, educational, and governmental clientele. As a co-founder of SRA, Dean has been instrumental in assisting organizations design and implement research strategies to achieve short and long-term goals, and in helping to make smart business decisions. What Dean enjoys most about SRA is seeing data become actionable. When a service is improved, a bond passes or an organization expands, it satisfies Dean knowing that his company played a role.

Outside of work, Dean is an avid history buff, and spends much of his time reading about the people and events that have shaped our history. Forgoing Spokane’s cold winters, Dean enjoys traveling to warmer climates, but can be found on the golf course as soon as Spring arrives. Earlier in his life, Dean earned a Distinguished Flying Cross and the Outstanding Flight Instructor Award as a U.S. Army helicopter pilot and instructor. Dean still holds a commercial/instrument certificate in both helicopter and fixed wing aircraft.

Dean was recently featured in the February 2009 edition of National Veteran-Owned Business Association magazine. Click here.
