Liza Nirelli

Research Partner

Liza’s strength lies in her ability to master her talents and share that knowledge with others. Having received a Master’s degree in Statistics from Iowa State University and a B.S. degree in Applied Statistics at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY, Liza has used her knowledge to co-write about a dozen articles, appearing in publications such as Preventive Medicine and the Journal of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology. Liza’s knowledge and speaking ability has also afforded her the opportunity to be a presenter at medical-related seminars across the country. At SRA, she works as a research partner, guiding clients in research design, statistical analysis, survey sampling, and statistical programming. She currently teaches at the SAS Institute in their Education Division, instructing other professionals how to use statistical analysis software.

Prior to SRA, Liza worked as a data analyst for the Survey Research Center and Nicotine Dependency Center at the Mayo Clinic/Division of Bio-Statistics in Rochester, MN. Preceding that, she was employed at Xerox/Division of Business Planning and Analysis in Rochester, NY. While living in New York, Liza studied, performed and taught ballet. She also enjoys traveling, skiing, scuba diving, and running and hiking with her fiancé.
