
Steven, a consummate researcher and high achiever, is an authority in the market research industry. His analytical, statistical, writing and presentation skills have assisted numerous clients in making the right strategic decisions about targeting, positioning, product or service configuration, promotion, and pricing. Steven’s in-depth knowledge of statistical software enables him to incorporate advanced statistical methods into his analysis, including but not limited to, regression and general linear models, clustering and segmentation, multivariate methods, and forecasting.
Steven has 20 years of professional research experience, 18 in research management, research design, statistical analysis (multivariate and conjoint analysis), focus group moderation, and statistical programming. Steven customarily designs surveys by determining objectives, recommending sample design and weighting procedure (for complex designs), developing questionnaires, and providing appropriate statistical analysis and reporting. Steven also works closely with SRA to help direct qualitative research, like focus groups. Steven earned an M.B.A. with quantitative emphasis from California State University, Sacramento, and holds a B.A. in history.
In addition to researching, Steven’s other passion is running and frequently participates in marathons. His most memorable experience was placing 9th in the Boston Marathon. He also enjoys reading about and discussing history. Steven has been married for 24 years and has two children.
